Medium-maturing variety, obtained at the VIR branch 'Polar Experimental Station' from the cross [(Igarka x Stakhanovka Altai) x Imandra] x M 6478. Authors: S.D. Elsakov, T.V. Romanova. Included in the State Register of varieties approved for use in the Northern region in 2007.
Medium-height bush, weakly spreading. Stems are tall, upright, with weak anthocyanic coloring on young stems. Bud of medium size, oval-rounded shape, sitting on a short petiole.
Leaf of medium size, green, matte, slightly wrinkled, medium density. Central lobe is narrow, angle between central veins of lateral lobes is straight. Basal lobes are clearly defined. Leaf base is rounded with a medium notch. Teeth are medium-sized, sharp. Petiole is long, thin, with weak anthocyanic coloring along the entire length, straight.
Flowers are large, pink, calyx with medium anthocyanic coloring. Inflorescence is medium, with compact berry arrangement (up to 6-7 berries), axis is thin, petiole is long, hairy.
Berries of medium size (1.0-1.2 g), round shape, without edges, black, shiny, calyx is small, closed, sweet taste (4.6 points), with blackcurrant aroma. Chemical composition: total sugars — 8.2%, organic acids — 4.6%, ascorbic acid — 123.0 mg/100 g.
Highly winter-hardy, early-fruiting, with high self-fertility, not affected by powdery mildew, anthracnose, resistant to Plautus louse and sawfly, average yield 11.9 t/ha (3.6 kg/plant).
Advantages of the variety: resistant to powdery mildew, uniform berry ripening.
Disadvantages of the variety: insufficient berry size.
