Claas Convio 1080

The Claas Convio 1080 is a draper cutterbar with a Rigid platform and a working width of 10.82 m (35 ft). The knife bar is of the Two-piece type with a divided drive: each section is equipped with a separate planetary gear unit.

As with other models in the Convio series, the Convio 1080 provides four working control modes. The series transmission combines mechanical drive for the auger and knife with hydraulic drive for the side belts, central belt, reel, and rape knives. In the CONVIO FLEX version of the series, the knife bar flex stroke is 225 mm, the upward stroke is 90 mm, and the downward stroke is 135 mm; ACTIVE FLOAT is included as standard equipment only in that version.
