Symptoms

Transmission of the pathogen occurs mainly through vegetative propagation, including grafting and the use of infected cuttings. Mechanical transmission via contaminated pruning tools is also a significant route.
In natural environments, insect vectors such as aphids and leafhoppers play a crucial role in spreading the virus. These insects acquire the virus while feeding on infected sap and transmit it to healthy hosts.
