Globularia majoricensis is a distinctive perennial subshrub belonging to the Plantaginaceae family. It is an endemic species native to the island of Mallorca, often found growing in limestone crevices and rocky substrates, which dictates its specific horticultural needs.

The plant thrives in full sun exposure. It requires a position that mimics its natural habitat, emphasizing the need for high levels of light intensity to maintain the structural integrity and compact form of the foliage throughout the year.
