The Zoeschen maple (Acer zoeschense) is a natural hybrid between Acer campestre and Acer cappadocicum, belonging to the Sapindaceae family. This deciduous tree is characterized by a moderate growth rate and a dense, rounded canopy, making it a highly valued specimen in horticultural practices.

This species thrives in sunny or partially shaded environments that offer protection from intense, drying winds. While the tree is relatively hardy, young specimens benefit significantly from mulching around the base to protect the roots during severe winter freezes, ensuring successful establishment.
