Soil pH should ideally be neutral to slightly acidic. Regular monitoring of soil conditions is advised, particularly in greenhouses, to maintain the optimal environment for the plant's long-term health.

The most significant pathological threats to Euphorbia species include fungal pathogens like powdery mildew. These issues often arise when humidity levels remain high for extended periods, coupled with poor ventilation.

Pests such as aphids and spider mites can colonize the foliage during warm periods. Early detection is critical, as these pests feed on sap, which can introduce secondary viral infections into the plant tissue.
