The oil causes rapid physical damage to the exoskeleton of soft-bodied insects, leading to dehydration, metabolic failure, and death of the target pest populations.
Additionally, lemongrass oil functions as a potent repellent, interfering with the chemical communication channels that pests use to identify and settle on host plants.
As a fungicide, it inhibits the development of mycelium and spores by suppressing the essential enzyme systems that pathogens require for colonization and infection.
What it targets
