In terms of fungicidal action, the extract is used to prevent the development of powdery mildew, gray mold, various leaf spots, and bacterial diseases on vegetable and ornamental crops.

The application rate depends on the crop type and plant growth stage. It is important to ensure uniform coverage of the leaf surface, including the undersides where pests often congregate.

To maximize efficacy, it is recommended to add a spreader-sticker (adjuvant) to the solution to improve the adhesion of active substances to plant tissues.

Application rates vary depending on the concentration of the active ingredient in specific formulations, so always follow the manufacturer's instructions carefully.

Restrictions

A primary limitation is the dependence of product efficacy on weather conditions. Heavy rainfall washes the active components off the leaf surface quickly.

Garlic extract does not have high persistence, so its application is not recommended during epiphytotics or severe pest outbreaks that require an immediate knockdown effect.

When using, consider the specific odor, which may persist on crops for several days, which is important when treating leafy greens close to harvest time.

The product is compatible with most biological control agents, but compatibility tests should be conducted before mixing with synthetic chemical pesticides.

Standard safety precautions should be followed during application, including the use of personal protective equipment for skin and respiratory protection, despite the organic origin of the substance.
