The compound effectively blocks the mitochondrial complex II in the Krebs cycle of pathogenic fungi. By inhibiting this respiratory process, the fungus is unable to produce sufficient energy, which leads to the rapid death of mycelium and the suppression of spore development.

The substance is characterized by excellent systemic activity and the ability to penetrate deeply into plant tissues. It also displays notable translaminar properties, allowing the active ingredient to protect foliage and developing seedlings effectively.
