Adult females are characterized by an oval body covered in a white, powdery wax layer, which often resembles small pieces of cotton wool. The males are smaller, winged, and are rarely seen due to their short lifespan.
This species is highly adaptable to both greenhouse environments and warmer open-air climates, where it can complete multiple life cycles throughout the year.

What it damages
