Closterocerus is a genus of insects belonging to the family Eulophidae within the order Hymenoptera. These tiny wasps are primarily known in entomology as parasitoids that regulate the populations of leaf-mining insects.

Physically, they are characterized by their small size and often possess a metallic sheen on their bodies, typical of many chalcid wasps. Their morphology requires precise microscopic examination for accurate species identification.

What it damages
