Zubr 10

A reliable workhorse for small-scale farming

Zubr agricultural machinery has established itself as a staple in the market for light-to-medium diesel tillers and small tractors, specifically designed for private farmers and small landholders. The core advantage of this equipment is its emphasis on repairability and mechanical simplicity. Unlike high-tech European machinery, Zubr units lack complex electronic control modules, allowing for basic field repairs with standard manual tools.

Key engineering features

• High-torque diesel engines that provide maximum efficiency at low RPMs, making them ideal for heavy soil and virgin land cultivation.
• The belt-drive system in entry-level models acts as a natural fuse: if the rotary tiller hits a rock or obstruction, the belt slips, preventing critical damage to the gearbox.
• Optimized weight distribution allows for deep soil penetration without the immediate need for additional counterweights.

Considerations for the operator

Zubr equipment requires a hands-on approach to maintenance. A common nuance is the factory assembly quality: before the first use, it is highly recommended to check the torque on all threaded connections and replace the shipping oil with high-quality lubricant. While these units may lack the comfort features of premium brands, their true value lies in the long-term engine durability and the availability of affordable spare parts. They are perfect for managing plots ranging from 0.2 to 2 hectares where operational economy and the ability to perform your own maintenance are priorities.
