Engineering insights into the SZ 2. design

The SZ 2. seeding equipment line is engineered to provide precise control over seeding depth, a critical factor for achieving uniform emergence of grain and pulse crops. Metering and distribution mechanism

The key component of the SZ 2. is its reel-type seeding mechanism. The design allows for smooth adjustment of the seeding rate while minimizing mechanical damage to the seeds. A vital technical aspect is the precise calibration of gaps between the reel and the gate, which enables the machine to handle a wide range of seed sizes, from small-seeded crops to larger grains, without requiring significant recalibration.

Coulter assembly design

The coulter system in the SZ 2. is designed to ensure stable ground contact. Depending on the configuration, the coulter mounting units are equipped with a spring-loaded pressure mechanism. This compensates for machine vibrations, ensuring that the target seeding depth is maintained even on compacted soil sections. Drive and transmission assembly
