The product «RIZOSTIM» is a biological preparation in powder form containing active ingredients such as Rhizobium leguminosarum bv. viceae 2636, Bradyrhizobium japonicum PC-08 (Argo) and Bradyrhizobium japonicum T 21-2. It is used to increase crop yields and protect plants from diseases. The preparation is used in agriculture for growing soy and peas. Application of the biological preparation improves nitrogen nutrition of plants by fixing atmospheric nitrogen through microorganisms included in the product. The product «RIZOSTIM» is manufactured by the Institute of Plant Physiology and Genetics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, located in Kyiv. Using biological preparations is an ecologically safe method to enhance productivity of agricultural crops. Such preparations do not contain chemical substances and can be applied in organic farming. The preparation is suitable for seed treatment and spraying of crops, which ensures uniform distribution of microorganisms on the surface of plant roots. This promotes faster growth and development of plants, as well as enhances overall resistance of crops to diseases. Application of «RIZOSTIM» is recommended as part of an integrated approach to fertilization and protection of agricultural crops.
