Powercraft МБ40-2

Engineering insights of the power unit

The Powercraft МБ40- is engineered for high-efficiency soil cultivation in residential and small-scale commercial plots. The core of the machine features an OHV (Overhead Valve) gasoline engine, which provides optimized thermal dissipation and fuel efficiency compared to legacy designs. The horizontal crankshaft alignment ensures direct power transfer to the transmission, minimizing parasitic energy loss during operation.

Transmission and drivetrain specifics

The standout feature of this model is its belt-driven transmission, serving as a critical safety buffer. In environments where subterranean obstacles like stones or thick roots are common, the belt's ability to slip provides a failsafe against shock loading. This prevents catastrophic mechanical failure of the engine internals and gear housing, while simultaneously ensuring field-repairability with basic tools.

• Gearbox: delivers the torque necessary for deep tilling while maintaining stable speed control.
• Operator ergonomics: the handle layout is designed to redistribute machine weight, reducing user fatigue during prolonged cultivation cycles.
• Maneuverability: the compact chassis allows for tight turning radii, ideal for inter-row maintenance and operation around orchards.

The gearbox is encased in a reinforced cast housing, effectively sealing the internal gears against abrasive soil particles and moisture. The integration of high-grade oil seals ensures that lubrication is maintained, preventing internal degradation even under demanding daily usage conditions.
