Odwerk IZ-85 Motor Cultivator

A reliable workhorse for small-scale farming

The Odwerk IZ-85 occupies a solid niche in the affordable agricultural machinery market, catering specifically to landowners managing plots up to 0.5 hectares. This unit was developed to meet the needs of hobby farmers who require a maneuverable yet robust tool for regular soil cultivation, eliminating the need for heavy tractor equipment.

Engineering and handling

The design features a classic belt-drive configuration, which simplifies maintenance and effectively dampens stress when breaking virgin soil. The model was engineered with ergonomics in mind: the controls are mounted directly on the handlebars, allowing the operator to adjust tilling depth and speed on the fly. Thanks to a well-balanced center of gravity, the tiller does not require significant physical effort to maneuver through narrow garden rows.

Typical applications

• Soil milling using customizable blade sections, providing precise control over working width for various crops.
• Versatility with attachments: compatibility with plows, ridgers, and potato diggers significantly optimizes seasonal planting and harvesting cycles.
• Cargo transport when used with a trailer module — the IZ-85 delivers reliable traction, even on uneven terrain.

Odwerk’s market reputation is built on a utilitarian philosophy: minimal aesthetic gimmicks in favor of durable transmission and engine components. For the owner, this ensures high serviceability, as most standard parts are universal and easily obtainable through local supply chains.
