ХТЗ ДТ-74

Iron will in the field

When you operate an «ХТЗ ДТ-», you realize that comfort is secondary, while pulling power is a religion. The model's main strength is its phenomenal off-road capability and the ability to pull heavy implements where modern imported tractors start to slip or require perfect ground conditions.

Maintenance without surprises

Maintainability is the key factor in choosing this machine. In the field, when you can't wait for imported parts, this tractor is a lifesaver. Parts are available, and the design is intuitive for any experienced operator — a wrench and common sense solve 90% of issues right in the furrow. It is important to look after the undercarriage, but if you lubricate it in time and monitor track tension, wear becomes predictable.

Operational highlights

• Fuel consumption is noticeable, but it is justified by the sheer volume of work the machine handles per shift.
• Vibration at the operator's station is something you get used to, though the cabin ergonomics are a classic candidate for custom adjustments.
• The engine is high-torque: it performs exceptionally well at low RPM, which is critical for deep plowing or heavy harrowing.

This is machinery for those who understand that in the field, it's not about touchscreens, but about transmission reliability and the ability to pull yourself out of any mud. If you are looking for a workhorse that isn't afraid of overload, you’ve found the right direction.
