Description INSECTURIN
The Insecturin preparation is a biological preparation in the form of a suspension. It contains three types of microorganisms: Bacillus thuringiensis Mbt-6 (IMV B-7804), Bacillus thuringiensis Mbt-8 (IMV B-7805) and Pseudomonas aureofaciens Mb-24 (IMV B-7559). The titer of each of these microorganisms is not less than 1x108 IU/ml. The preparation is intended for use in agriculture, including retail sale to the public. Insecturin is applied on various crops: for peas, the recommended rate is 3.0 – 4.0 L/ha (30 – 40 ml/100 m²), applied twice; for vegetable crops such as tomatoes, the rate is 20.0 – 30.0 L/ha (200 – 300 ml/100 m²), applied three times; for vineyards, the rate is 5.0 – 8.0 L/ha (50 – 80 ml/100 m²), also applied three times. The preparation is primarily applied by soil treatment. Insecturin belongs to contact preparations and is supplied as a concentrate suspension, which allows convenient application on various crops according to recommended dosages. The maximum number of applications may be 2 or 3 depending on the crop.
