Practical experience with "Ensis" in the field

When you are in the middle of the season, a crop protection product must work fast and without any equipment issues. I have been using "Ensis" from Vitagro Group on both winter wheat and cabbage, and its main advantage for me is how well it behaves in the sprayer. This suspension concentrate is easy to mix, doesn't leave sediment, and most importantly, it doesn't clog the nozzles during long shifts.

Control and field application

I rely on "Ensis" as a core tool for wheat protection against pests like the sunn pest and cereal leaf beetle. For cabbage, the focus is on caterpillars, aphids, and moths. Since this is a contact insecticide, the quality of leaf coverage is everything.

• Application rate: 0.5–1.0 l/ha. I usually adjust the rate depending on the infestation density.
• Treatment limit: 2 applications per season, which is perfectly sufficient to keep the crop protected during critical growth stages.
• Ease of use: It is stable in tank mixes and doesn't interfere with other crop protection products.

Field operation tips

Beyond the stable results, I appreciate the simplicity of handling. The 3rd hazard class keeps the regulatory requirements manageable, and the formulation makes measuring and mixing straightforward. I always aim for early morning or evening applications to maximize the efficiency of the alpha-cypermethrin when insects are most active. After the work is done, the sprayer system rinses out quickly, which helps in maintaining the spray equipment in good condition.
