Topsin-M

Topsin-M, cerco-bin, thiophanate-methyl, chemical fungicide with high fungicidal activity, as well as protective, curative, and systemic effects. Active ingredient — 1,2-bis-(3-methoxycarbonyl-2-thiouracil) benzene. Topsin-M is produced as a 70% wettable powder of white color. Slightly soluble in water. Applied on vineyards to combat gray mold, oidium, and other fungal diseases by spraying at a rate of 1.0-1.5 kg/ha. Topsin-M is used for stratification of grafted cuttings at concentrations of 0.1-0.2%. Compatible with many pesticides, except those with alkaline reaction. Low toxicity to warm-blooded animals. Weak dermal absorption and cumulative properties. Grapevine treatments must be discontinued at least 20 days prior to harvest. Personnel may resume work in the vineyard 3 days after application of Topsin-M. Strict adherence to safety guidelines is required when handling the product.
