The fungicide «Jeep» is based on the active ingredient fluazinam, which belongs to the dinitroaniline chemical class. Unlike systemic preparations that act from within, «Jeep» implements an external barrier strategy. It is a contact fungicide that creates a protective film on the surface of leaf blades and stems, preventing the germination of pathogen spores.

Mechanism of action: blocking the pathogen's respiration

The key feature of the formulation from Hangzhou Ruijiang Chemical Co., Ltd. is the ability of fluazinam to disrupt the oxidative phosphorylation process in fungal cells. Effectively, the preparation «shuts down» the pathogen's energy metabolism, depriving it of the ability to develop. It is important to note that such a mechanism minimizes the risk of resistance: fungal crops, such as late blight and early blight pathogens in tomatoes and potatoes, are less likely to develop immunity to this active ingredient.

Application features

• Adhesive properties: The suspension concentrate provides a high degree of adhesion to the plant's vegetative organs. Once dry, the working solution forms a resistant layer that is not easily washed away by precipitation.
• Application standards: The recommended consumption rate is 0.3–0.5 L/ha. When applying, it is crucial to ensure even coverage of the entire leaf surface area.
• Safety and intervals: The preparation belongs to hazard class 3. The maximum number of applications is limited to three cycles per season, with the final field entry conducted no later than 10 days before harvest.

Using «Jeep» in tank mixtures or as an independent protective agent helps curb primary infection foci and significantly reduces the pathogen background in potato and tomato fields.
