Operational experience

The main advantage of this model is its maintainability and simplicity. The design allows you to disassemble the housing in less than a minute without any special tools. Inside, there is a set of discs that can be easily cleaned under running water. The 120 mesh rating is the industry standard for most well and surface water sources, as it effectively captures sand and small organic particles without creating critical pressure drops.

Practical tip: when installing, always follow the flow direction arrow on the housing. If installed in reverse, the cleaning efficiency drops significantly, and the risk of clogging the discs increases. I determine the maintenance interval by monitoring the pressure gauge: as soon as the outlet pressure drops, it’s time to open the canister. This is a robust, reliable tool that doesn't need constant attention and gives you the confidence that your irrigation system won't fail during the heat of the season.
