ДТЗ КР-09М

Working with the DTZ KR-09M

When operating the DTZ KR-09M potato planter, you quickly realize that the design focuses on structural durability and simplicity. It pairs seamlessly with most walk-behind tractors and small utility tractors, requiring no complex modifications. It’s a straightforward piece of equipment that gets the job done without unnecessary technical complexity.

Operational nuances and setup

Adjusting the planting depth and spacing is intuitive and holds steady throughout the workday. The ridgers are robust, forming consistent ridges that stand up well to moisture. The key to smooth operation is potato calibration: uniform tubers prevent mechanical jams, ensuring a continuous flow. Once set, the machine maintains a precise distance between plants, making subsequent field maintenance significantly easier.

Maintenance and repair

The open frame design of the DTZ KR-09M makes it easy to clean soil and debris after a day of work. Because the mechanism lacks overly complex electronic components, maintenance is straightforward. If a component like the furrow opener or the chain drive requires attention, repairs can typically be handled in a home workshop using standard tools. The availability of genuine DTZ spare parts is a significant advantage, minimizing downtime during the critical planting season.

• Solid furrow opener suitable for various soil densities.
• User-friendly adjustments for depth and spacing.
• Reliable chain drive that remains efficient with routine lubrication.

For small-scale farmers, this planter acts as a reliable workhorse, turning labor-intensive potato planting into a fast, manageable, and highly efficient process.
