Candy F1

Very early hybrid of medium day length. When sown directly into open ground, forms a bulb in one season. Salad-type, sweet, very tasty. In taste similar to Yalta variety, but with much softer and juicier flesh. Bulb is round, weighing up to 800 g. Keeps for up to 6 months. Scales are golden-yellow. Resistant to pink root rot. Recommended for cultivation in southern Ukraine and Moldova, both direct seeding and transplanting methods.
