Sowing dates

Sowing of Gypsophila patrinii seeds is typically carried out in spring when the soil warms up to 10-12 degrees Celsius. Ensuring stable moisture in the topsoil is a critical condition for achieving uniform germination.

Late autumn sowing, performed in late October or early November, is also an option, allowing seeds to undergo natural stratification in the soil. This practice often results in earlier and more consistent germination as spring temperatures rise.

In agronomic management, it is crucial to avoid excessive irrigation and heavy nitrogen fertilization, which can trigger rot diseases. Minimal mineral complex applications at the start of the vegetative phase are sufficient.
