Temperature management is crucial; the plant is highly sensitive to cold and does not survive frost. An ideal temperature range for year-round development is between 20 and 30 degrees Celsius with minimal fluctuations.
Regular irrigation is necessary, ensuring the root zone stays consistently moist but not saturated. In dry regions, supplemental misting is recommended to simulate the high-humidity environment characteristic of its native habitat.
